“Should old acquaintance be forgot, and old lang syne? For auld lang syne, my dear, for auld lang syne,We’ll take a cup of kindness yet, for auld lang syne. And surely you’ll buy your pint cup! and surely I’ll buy mine! And we’ll take a cup o’ kindness yet, for auld lang syne. We two have run about the slopes, and picked the daisies fine; But we’ve wandered many a weary foot, since auld lang syne. We two have paddled in the stream, from morning sun till dine; But seas between us broad have roared since auld lang syne.” – Robert Burns

Auld Lang Syne: old long ago, good old days, times gone by and for old times sake.

We’ve all had those years where we’re ready to be done and move on. We need a change and a new start. Those years of pure exhaustion and frustration for 365 days. We’ve also had those years we couldn’t imagine trading for anything. The years where growth has been amazing, change has been prevalent and we’ve had nothing but what some would call bliss. This year has been both. A year with lots of change and growth.  A year where frustrations have come and gone in numerous forms. I can honestly say though, 2016 you have been great. You were a year of doubts and fear.  A year of not knowing what would happen and what the future would hold.  But now I say goodbye to you and I welcome 2017. This year has had many blessings, challenges, seasons, growth and so much more, but I’m ready for you 2017. I pray that Jesus uses me in ways like never before. That growth is prevalent in every season whether it’s a season of ups or downs. I can’t wait to see what 2017 brings and what God holds for my life in this year. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” – Jeremiah 29:11
Farewell 2016 and hello 2017! I welcome you with open arms #happynewyear #bringiton2017

Let me tell you about muh best friends!  I can’t imagine life without these two. Whether close together or far apart life will never be the same without them. 2017 I believe you hold a lot for us. I believe you will be a year of conquering fears, doubts, one full of open doors, firsts and lasts, joy and so much more. Together we will take you on with full hearts and strong heads. I believe favor will show and God will be present. #bringiton2017
